Eligibility of some used cars from the United States

Effective January 1, 2020, the following used cars from the United States are no longer eligible because the original new car warranty is not honoured when the vehicle is transferred to Canada:

About this program

The Roulez vert program for all-electric used vehicles has been available since April 18, 2019, as a follow-up to the used electric vehicle pilot project, which was in effect from April 2017 to March 2019 and whose conditions were in force until April 17, 2019.

To be eligible for a rebate, a new vehicle must be registered in the name of the applicant no later than December 31, 2020. Participants can, however, file their rebate applications up to March 31, 2021. Note that the program may end earlier if available funds are exhausted.
